South Eastern Bonanza Society

For 14 years, the South Eastern Bonanza Society (SEBS) has been gracing the skies over Cape Santa Maria with their beautiful planes and skillful formation flying. Michael Turner has watched the numbers jump from 18 planes and 50 guests to 41 planes (mostly Bonanzas and Barons) and 90 guests in 2019. This year, we also welcomed one Citation Mustang, a Lancair Legacy, and an RV6 to the show! Pilots flew from Texas, Tennessee, New York, Florida, and Wisconsin for beach BBQs with live local music, (paddle)board meetings, margarita night, and an extraordinary airshow above the resort.

Caribbean Flying Adventures

Jim Parker and his wife Margie have been bringing the Caribbean Flying Adventures family to the Cape since 2007. What started with 14 planes and 28 guests expanded to 24 planes (from Cessna 172s to a Citation Jet) and 55 guests in 2019. In addition to plenty of beach time, the group enjoys a group night out at neighbouring Stella Maris restaurant, an excursion to Staniel Cay to visit Exuma’s swimming pigs and snorkel at Thunderball Grotto, and a day of fishing with our own Captain Bert.
